Sweat and Tonic is going big.
What’s happening: The Canadian fitness boutique will debut new concept REFORMD in Toronto this spring, set to become the world’s highest-capacity Lagree studio.
All class. Early to envision the multi-modality boutique-in-a-box, Sweat and Tonic’s facilities house studios for HIIT, cycling, yoga, and Pilates.
Complemented by high-aesthetic communal spaces and holistic wellness services, it’s a go-to social wellness club — since 2019, S&T has notched 1.75M bookings, with revenue growing 154% YoY in ’24.
Tapping in Lagree, an equipment-based high-intensity modality comparable to Pilates, it’ll co-locate the 6K-sq-ft, 30-Megaformer REFORMD studio near its largest club.
Pumped. Hosting 3K guests daily, Sweat and Tonic is expanding its network with new formats.
- It debuted its first international site in LA, a yoga and Pilates studio called Silver Springs.
- Sweat and Tonic’s second site features the largest indoor cycling studio in Canada, a HIIT studio, and social areas.
- Last year, it introduced Tonic Spa, a performance and recovery hub with infrared saunas, cold plunges, and a 50-foot saltwater lap pool.
In the pipeline, a third Sweat and Tonic site is set to open in Toronto this year. Internationally, it’s exploring opportunities in New York.
Looking ahead: Crafting places to sweat, recover, and connect, Sweat and Tonic will use REFORMD to ramp up efforts to become a one-stop shop for holistic-minded consumers.
