Sperm donation has new terms and conditions.

What’s happening: PreSeed Fertility launched its sperm donor recruitment platform, offering 1:1 matching for families and preconception health optimization plans.

Fresh approach. Despite ~100K US families currently searching, the sperm donor market suffers from fragmented operators, donor shortages, and unregulated recruitment.

PreSeed partners with clinics, agencies, and legal teams to streamline the process, enlisting more men and accelerating the process for families. Improving the pool, recruits are enrolled in Upstream, a 10-week program coaching physical, mental, and emotional health to boost fertility and long-term child health outcomes.

Male momentum. Despite men contributing up to half of cases, the infertility conversation has largely focused on women. But, with metabolic health, lifestyle, and environmental factors plummeting healthy sperm counts, the spotlight is shifting.

Finding paternal diet and exercise influence a child’s lifelong health, sperm optimization is big business, from men’s prenatals and DTC diagnostics to non-toxic boxers and “Sperm Racing” virility competitions.

Punchline: PreSeed is updating the fragmented sperm donor model to meet rising IVF demand, tapping Upstream for healthier offspring.
