Everlab is screening new locations.
What’s happening: The Australian diagnostic-led preventative health clinic landed A$15M ($10M) from NYC-based Left Lane Capital to expand to Europe, the US, and Asia-Pacific.
Charting course. Operating four clinics, the Melbourne-based brand taps bloodwork, CGMs, and scans like MRI, DEXA, ECG, and CT angiograms to flag disease early.
Assessing 1M patient biomarkers to date, one in four test results are abnormal, and 2.5% have caught serious conditions like artery blockages and tumors. A step beyond, AI-supported, clinician-designed interventions improved members’ markers by a third in six months.
Scan on. Serving the worried well—healthy people seeking assurance—scan clinics are scaling.
While Prenuvo adds sites with new full-body MRI specialties, Biograph took its tech-enabled physicals to NYC, and Neko opened its London flagship en route to the US. Opening access, Northwestern Medicine just debuted a public longevity clinic in Chicago.
Outside America, Swiss startup Aeon will take integrated diagnostics across the DACH region, while Human Longevity is headed to MENA.
Looking ahead: With chronic disease responsible for 70% of global deaths, preventative screenings shouldn’t be discouraged. But managing scanxiety among healthy people and overprescription from providers will require broadened clinical oversight.
