BeaverFit is getting on the same page.
What’s happening: The fitness equipment manufacturer merged its regionally owned UK and US branches.
BeaverFit will retain American, British, and Australian facilities, utilizing territorial efficiencies for product development, growth, and expansion of its military contracts.
Assembly required. Known for its outdoor container gyms and rugged strength build-outs, the UK-born outfitter is seeking new challenges:
- Last year, it partnered with functional training studio MADabolic on space-maximizing units and built the largest open-air training facility in the US for Club Northwest.
- In February, Peloton-owned Precor tapped BeaverFit to design and manufacture a functional training collection for gyms.
- A global defense contractor, it’s delivering 400 container gyms to German special forces while bidding for over 100 US soldier readiness sites.
Global Gains
With strength training surging, manufacturers are taking their businesses abroad.
- This year, REP Fitness signed distribution deals to enter Europe and Japan.
- Elevating global sport, PLAE inked with the Atlanta Falcons and Australian Olympic team.
- Securing funding in December, BLK BOX is expanding into the Nordics and Middle East.
Meanwhile, partnerships are opening up new possibilities for operators with both Freemotion x Aktiv Solutions and Life Fitness x Pavigym allying on functional strength circuits — plus Centr co-developing equipment with fitness racing series HYROX.
Punchline: As gyms shrink cardio floors in favor of functional performance spaces, they’ll need innovative strength solutions to forge future success.
