From prevention to everyday wellness, healthcare is becoming more connected and proactive.

Oura Lands a Major Healthcare Partner

Eli Lilly has made an equity investment in Oura, deepening the relationship between the wearable company and one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical firms.

The investment builds on Oura’s recent GLP-1 features, helping 100K+ members track how sleep, recovery, activity, and other biometrics change throughout treatment.

As continuous monitoring integrates with healthcare, the partnership reflects a broader shift where drugs, wearable data, and daily habits work together to improve long-term outcomes.

Neko Health Raises $700M

The preventative healthcare company co-founded by Spotify’s Daniel Ek closed one of the largest funding rounds in digital health this year ahead of its US launch.

  • Neko combines proprietary body-scanning technology, blood testing, and physician consultations into a 60-minute preventative health assessment priced at ~$400.
  • Since launching in 2023, more than 350K people have joined the waitlist or registered for a scan, while over 100K members across the UK and Sweden have completed one.

With fresh capital and strong consumer demand, Neko is betting vertically integrated technology and recurring diagnostics can move healthcare upstream — from treating disease to catching it early.

Wellness Is Becoming the Default

A new PwC report found consumers are making everyday decisions through the lens of health.

  • More than half say living a longer, healthier life is their top priority, while 80% already use an app or wearable to support at least one aspect of their wellbeing.
  • Meanwhile, consumers want simplicity as much as personalization — prioritizing products that are easy to use, affordable, and fit naturally into existing habits.

From protein-first breakfasts and recovery-focused habits to personalized supplements and diagnostics, wellness is becoming embedded in everyday routines rather than reserved for occasional healthy choices.

For brands, the biggest opportunity isn’t creating new behaviors but helping people make healthier decisions within the routines they already have.
