Digital health 2.0 is loading.

Forward progress. Through vertical integration and cross-category data sharing, the consumer health platforms are evolving to connect data, interpretation, and treatment.

Hims. Reporting Q2 earnings, CEO Andrew Dudum said the company plans to offer approved peptides by year-end, following investments in US-made peptide APIs and clinical infrastructure. Subscribers grew 19% to 2.9M, scaling built-in distribution for next-gen therapies.

Abbott + Google. Abbott’s Lingo glucose data is integrating with Google Health’s AI Coach, layering metabolic insights alongside activity, sleep, and recovery metrics. Adding to Abbott’s WHOOP investment and Lilly’s Oura bet, clinical and consumer are merging to personalize care.

Amazon + Novo Nordisk. AWS is becoming Novo’s strategic AI partner, with the companies launching a joint London hub. Amazon’s Bio Discovery platform will help accelerate drug development, joining the AI x pharma race with NVIDIA, OpenAI, and Anthropic.

Looking ahead: Bonded by AI, consumer health and pharma are getting friendly.
