Grüns is scaling fast.

What’s happening: The gummy supplement maker announced a $35M Series B, hitting a $500M valuation.

Shipping 4M gummies per day with “nine-figure” ARR, Grüns will scale distribution while adding new products.

Daily chew. Grüns functional gummy bears hit the market in ’23, filling nutritional gaps through ingredients like powdered fruit and veg, vitamins, and probiotics.

Raising $18M in ’24, it added kids version Cubs and Nütrops, a nootropic mushroom gummy for cognitive support — with more SKUs expected this summer.

Selling DTC, plus at Target and Walmart, international expansion is reportedly on the horizon.

Tough pill. Gummy supplements currently make up 23% of supplement sales, with 38% of Gen Z and 30% of millennials preferring them to pills or tablets.

Beyond nostalgic multivitamins, they’re popping gummies for specific needs like gut health, energy, immunity, recovery, beauty, and focus — while 33% are interested in non-prescription GLP-1 gummies.

Up next: precision stacks, like arrae’s body composition gummies with creatine and postbiotics, Timeline’s longevity gummies, and TopGum’s “gummiceuticals” for everything from prenatal development to anemia.

Punchline: Consumers want foundational nutrition and functional benefits, but make it fun.
