Life Time enters health tech.

The latest: The athletic country club operator partnered with Dexcom to offer continuous glucose monitors directly to members through its app.

New blood. Moving from medical necessity to wellness tool, Dexcom’s Stelo biosensor was the first CGM to receive FDA clearance for over-the-counter sales. Teaming with Life Time, the device maker is courting health-conscious consumers beyond its traditional diabetes market.

Full-service. The glucose monitoring rollout advances Life Time’s wellness push:

  • Adding medical services, the company launched MIORA longevity clinics offering hormones and GLP-1s.
  • It revamped its supplement line to target gut health, anti-aging, and muscle-building.
  • Rounding out lifestyle offerings, the company has become a pickleball powerhouse, hosting 700+ courts and pro tournaments.

Integrating recovery, it will add cold plunges to 70+ locations this year, complementing sauna, massage gun, and assisted stretching services.

Looking ahead: As metabolic health becomes a mainstream metric, traditional fitness brands are racing to integrate medical services. Leading the way, Life Time’s Dexcom deal positions the company at the intersection of wellness and healthcare.
