Future’s pairing PT with TB.
What’s happening: The personal training app merged with Autograph, a fan loyalty and engagement app co-founded by NFL vet Tom Brady.
Brady will become co-chairman of Future’s board while tapping Autograph’s relationships with elite athletes to amplify the digital training experience.
Winning mindset. Assuming the same role post-merger Future CEO Rishi Mandal believes the brands have a shared mission: connecting consumers to greatness.
Enhancing the country’s largest personal training platform, the combined entity will integrate a new batch of workout partners:
“Our members will love training alongside the world’s best athletes and benefit from their individual philosophies and motivational wisdom.”
Alongside Tom Brady, Autograph’s advisors include Simone Biles, Wayne Gretzky, Usain Bolt, and Naomi Osaka, among others.
Future gains. Mandal expects aspirational voices on mindset and longevity to boost sign-ups and training goals, but Autograph’s athletes won’t prescribe workouts, leaving personalized programming to Future coaches.
As the relationship takes shape, Future will continue to scale its AI-powered coaching tech.
Punchline: Tom Brady can’t quit the game. After merging his TB12 nutrition and apparel businesses with NOBULL, the poster child of athletic longevity will share his secrets to greatness via Future.
