Xponential Fitness Acquires Lindora Weight Loss Clinics

Lindora

Xponential Fitness is all-in on holistic health.

The latest: The boutique fitness franchisor is acquiring weight loss and wellness clinic operator Lindora.

Xponential owns 10 fitness brands across its portfolio, including Club Pilates, CycleBar, Rumble, StretchLab, Row House, Pure Barre, AKT, YogaSix, STRIDE Fitness, and BFT.

Focused on weight management and metabolic health, Lindora clinics offer GLP-1s like Ozempic, IV drips, hormone replacement therapy, and cold laser therapy, among other treatments.

Expanding its empire beyond exercise, XPOF will acquire Lindora’s intellectual property and take over 31 existing clinics, with plans to franchise the brand globally.

Blurred lines. Meeting demand for holistic health services, Xponential Fitness joins a growing number of operators pursuing opportunities in medspas, recovery studios, and wellness clinics.

  • Life Time recently debuted MIORA, a medical and longevity concept offering health and wellness services, including obesity drugs.
  • California’s Monarch Athletic Club combines personal training, preventative medicine, and physical therapy under one roof.
  • Steven Bartlett-backed UNTIL, uniting fitness, wellness, and health for professionals and consumers, is planning growth across the UK and US.

Meanwhile… Restore Hyper Wellness, Pause, Perspire, and SweatHouz are all scaling up to offer à la carte wellness therapies — from sauna and cold plunge to dermatology.

Looking ahead: Signaling a seismic shift in the fitness industry, workouts, wellness services, and medical treatments are converging. As obesity drugs go mainstream, gyms are already leaning in, meaning they may soon become a standard membership benefit. Whether it’s an on-ramp to exercise, an additional revenue stream, or both, brands and members will be forced to wrestle with their stance on weight loss prescriptions.
