Yoga Joint is headed to NYC.

What’s happening: The Florida-born infrared fitness chain lands in Manhattan and Williamsburg this fall, tapping ex-Barry’s exec Adam Shane as NY owner to lead growth.

New horizons. Specializing in infrared-heated athletic Vinyasa and HIIT-style strength, Yoga Joint is targeting national expansion.Adding to 17 Florida studios, it plans to open 15+ locations across FL, MA, TX, and the Tri-State area by 2030.

Heated rivalry. Purporting cardiovascular benefits, increased flexibility, and detoxification, heated workouts—particularly yoga and Pilates—are on the rise again, with hot yoga tweaking its messaging for longevity and strength to regain the hype of decades past.

Confirming its heat, sauna fitness franchise HOTWORX just eclipsed 800 studios, and Crunch Fitness added infrared yoga as part of its 3.0 blueprint. Meanwhile, BURN LA’s red and blue light sessions are gaining attention for menopause benefits.

Punchline: As hybrid athletes mix modalities and heated workouts resurge, Yoga Joint is betting on both for its nationwide expansion.
