EGYM’s Wellpass is coming to America.
What’s happening: The Munich-born fitness equipment and technology company bought FitReserve, a multi-studio fitness membership with 2K US fitness partners.
EGYM’s Wellpass platform will add FitReserve’s B2B clients while parting with its B2C users.
Networking. Known for its smart equipment ecosystem, EGYM is investing in B2B wellness, acquiring France’s Gymlib in 2022 and the UK’s Hussle earlier this year.
With FitReserve, Wellpass tops 16K corporate clients with access to 20K fitness and wellness partners across six countries.

As EGYM enters the US, global rivals are scaling up — Wellhub (fka Gympass) serves 18K clients across 11 countries, and Urban Sports Club acquired myClubs after raising €95M last year.
