HYROX is recruiting new racers.
What’s happening: The fitness race organizer will host its first event in Mumbai, India next May in partnership with endurance sport training platform Yoska.
Alongside debuts in Canada, South Africa, and Belgium, the expansion is part of its goal to reach 1M annual participants and 170 global events by 2027.
Full sprint. Spanning 30 cities and 65 races, the functional fitness-based series attracted 175K+ participants last season, with events in the US and UK quickly selling out.
Targeting 450K sign-ups ahead of its World Championships in Chicago next June, the brand aims to quadruple its network of 2.5K HYROX affiliate clubs to rally potential racers.
Teamwork. Aligning with prominent partners, HYROX aspires to be more than a race.
- Apparel and footwear partner PUMA is developing a full range of HYROX training gear.
- Official training partner F45 delivers specialized HYROX workouts across global studios.
- HYROX partnered with Chris Hemsworth’s Centr on co-branded equipment to outfit races, affiliate gyms, and homes.
Staying connected, hybrid training ecosystem HYROX365 arms gyms with upgraded programming and education, as well as a digital platform with classes led by official coaches.
Looking ahead: Gaining ground, HYROX continues to drive hypergrowth. But while gym-goers flock to its events, it’s intent on building a brand beyond the finish line.
