Neko Health is going big.

What’s happening: The Swedish preventative health clinic will open its first US site in NYC this spring, marking its largest location to date.

Next-gen. Neko’s proprietary scans map skin health and cardiovascular efficiency, while in-house blood panels, grip strength testing, and eye pressure measurements round out assessments. Clinicians review results immediately, translating diagnostics into insights within an hour.

Queued up. Operating six sites across Stockholm, London, and Manchester, the company 6x’ed scan volume last year and still boasts a 300K-person waitlist. Arming patients with longitudinal data, retention is fueling growth, with 80% rebooking.

Checked out. Not intended to replace primary care, Neko only prescribes medications in urgent situations, while scans prompt GP referrals in just 4% of cases.

Entering NYC, Neko will compete with preventative, scan-equipped clinics like Prenuvo, Biograph, and Fountain Life, with the latter capable of prescribing regenerative therapies.

Looking ahead: As elective scans and bloodwork become table stakes, Neko Health is positioning diagnostics as a new front door to proactive care — with the US as the ultimate proving ground.
