Spotify CEO Launches Full-Body Scan Clinic in London

Neko Health

Neko Health is branching out.

Check-up. The Swedish healthtech company, co-founded by Spotify CEO Daniel Ek, opened the doors to its London clinic.

Building on two Stockholm sites, Neko’s UK entrance is part of a broader European expansion.

Head-to-toe. Designed to spot and prevent disease, Neko’s full-body scans take ~10 minutes to complete and cost £299.

Leveraging 70 sensors to collect 50M data points, it generates a digital twin for cardiovascular age, skin cancers, and body mass distribution — then used to inform a personalized doctor’s consultation.

Scaling up. After developing Neko’s tech in stealth, Daniel Ek and co-founder Hjalmar Nilsonne raised €60M last year to fuel growth — completing 2.7K scans in 2023 while amassing a 20K-person waitlist.

For now, as US competitors like Ezra, Prenuvo, and Q Bio accelerate stateside, Neko has big plans for Europe.

Punchline: Criticized as costly and unnecessary, the healthcare establishment is skeptical of preventative full-body scans. But as consumers lose faith in sick care, demand for proactive solutions will soar.
