Superpower is scaling up.

What’s happening: The preventative health platform raised a $30M Series A led by Forerunner Ventures, with backing from Winklevoss Capital and NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Launching a “super-app,” Superpower taps comprehensive diagnostics to empower users with health-critical insights.

In the lab. Since emerging from stealth as a longevity care startup last year, Superpower has fine-tuned its platform while accumulating a 150K-person waitlist.

The membership combines biannual lab testing with an app that decodes over 100 blood biomarkers, contextualizing them against EHRs, wearables, genomics, imaging, and daily habits.

Creating rich health profiles, users receive a health score, biological age, and actionable protocols — with support from Superpower clinicians and an AI guide trained on medical literature, currently in beta.

Life lessons. Co-founder & CEO Jacob Peters says health data is too important to sit idle, believing “everyone deserves to understand what’s happening in their body without a medical degree.”

An oft-cited CDC figure posits that 100K American lives would be saved annually if they had received preventative care, but it may be higher — 64% only seek a doc when extremely unwell.

A shift in thinking, as access to easy-to-understand, next-gen diagnostics broadens, companies like Function, Neko, and Prenuvo can’t scale fast enough.

Punchline: Trading annual check-ups for real-time data, consumers want proactive care. Connecting the dots between insights and intervention, Superpower joins the race to build a Personal Health OS.
