Therabody is entering new territory.
What’s happening: The recovery tech brand launched CryoTherm Palm, a handheld thermoregulation device designed to lower core body temperature during training and competition.
Cool down. Developed for use between sets, sprints, and periods of exertion, the dual-sided device taps Therabody’s Cryothermal technology to delay fatigue and sustain performance. Multifunctional, it also delivers heat for contrast therapy.
Tested on D1 athletes at USC and elite soccer players at IMG Academy, the device improved training volume, sprint performance, grip strength, and perceived exertion.
Heat check. Moving beyond massage guns, Therabody is expanding into new categories.
Alongside thermoregulation, the company is broadening its performance recovery lineup, whic now includes red light-enhanced wraps, compression boots, and eye massagers.
Doubling down on beauty and wellness, it also added a second LED mask, appointed its first chief dermatologist, Dr. Dhaval Bhanusali, and entered 1K+ Ulta Beauty locations.
Punchline: Building on its recovery playbook, CryoTherm Palm keeps athletes cool while heating up Therabody’s performance portfolio.
