From escape to optimization.

Wellness hospitality is scaling up, and out.

What’s happening: Lanserhof, an Austrian luxury health resort, secured €95M ($110M) to expand globally and launch supplements and beauty products.

Integrative. Founded in the ’80s, the company blends naturopathic healing with cutting-edge medical practice across three resorts, plus a sports medicine-focused clinic in London’s The Arts Club.

Repositioning for the future of wellness, the funding will fuel new longevity-focused locations, supplements, and cosmetics.

New vision. More than destinations, resorts are exporting their lifestyles. Vertically integrating, Clinique La Prairie is scaling resorts and clinics while selling supplements at UK retailer Harrods, launching a footwear collab with GNL, and funding emerging longevity science.

Elsewhere, Thailand-born Aman has 11 new properties in development, including LA and Miami, and operates its “Essentials” marketplace spanning apparel to skincare. And Spanish operator SHA recently opened in Mexico, adding WHOOP biometrics, peptide therapies, and OpenAI-powered optimization programs.

Punchline: Commercializing longevity protocols, luxury resorts like Lanserhof are ensuring the wellness experience doesn’t end at checkout.
