Allara Health

Allara is widening the lens on women’s health.

What’s happening: The virtual health clinic secured $30M from GV, Index Ventures, and others to scale its insurance-backed, integrated care model.

Custom-built. Combining medical care and diagnostics with nutritional and lifestyle support, Allara addresses the overlap between hormonal, metabolic, and reproductive health, personalizing plans across life stages for 120K women to date.

Insurance-backed and available nationwide, it’ll target enterprise partnerships while investing in AI features to reach more women when and how they want care.

Full-spec. As women’s platforms like Maven, Midi, and Pomelo scale beyond siloed specialties, Allara’s building on hormonal health roots, adding GLP-1s, HRT, Rx skincare, and STI testing. Up next, it’s exploring in-house mental health services to expand its whole-person approach.

Looking ahead: As women’s health gets redesigned to follow through life stages, providers are building multidisciplinary models to capture more of the patient journey. With 51% of women running out of patience on sub-standard care, the race is on to make the pieces fit.
