Myo is making moves.

What’s happening: The Toronto-born integrated physical therapy clinic will enter NYC this summer, marking its 22nd site across five markets.

Repositioning for a new stage of growth, Myo—formerly Myodetox—is scaling its signature prehab protocols across North America and beyond.

FutureProof. Merging myofascial release with corrective exercise, Myo’s PTs, chiropractors, and massage therapists offer a modern take on physical therapy called the FutureProof Method.

Designed to restore balance, reduce pain, increase range of motion, and build strength, its principles help members feel better while promoting personal health agency.

In demand, Myo completed 250K 1:1 sessions last year.

Body IQ. Co-founder & CEO Scott Marcaccio says shifting from “symptom IQ”—knowing there’s pain—to FutureProof’s prescriptive “solution IQ” focus will revolutionize movement health.

Of note, nearly half of Myo clients aren’t dealing with an acute injury — they’re coming to prevent one.

Big Apple. Fueled by a $4M investment—led by co-founders Marcaccio and Vinh Pham—Myo will soon open in NYC’s Flatiron District, neighboring Vuori’s flagship. Elevating its 1:1 offering, the clinic will add pelvic health therapy, running assessments, and clinical Pilates to its menu.

A new hub, Myo is planning five NYC clinics in two years while entering multiple new markets in CA and the Northeast by 2027 — tapping local synergies to acquire members.

An out-of-network provider, Myo will select sites with proximity to premium brands like Barry’s and Equinox (an early investor), acting as a care partner.

Looking ahead: With a decade’s headstart and trusted authority, Myo’s craft is hard for competitors to replicate. Aiming to become the “first global brand in physical therapy,” discussions for Hong Kong, the Middle East, and more are underway.
