Oura is getting personal.
The latest: The smart ring maker’s AI-powered personal health companion, Oura Advisor, is now available to all members.
New layer. Developed through Oura’s opt-in beta-testing platform Labs, Advisor’s full integration expands beyond passive tracking. The AI coach interprets user data—from sleep and activity to stress and readiness—then offers personalized insights, trends, and action plans.
Full-service. More than a chatbot, Advisor combines biometric inputs with behavioral context to help users understand complex metrics, establish new habits, and achieve wellness goals.
Bridging wearables and clinical care, CEO Tom Hale recently explained his strategy, emphasizing: “we see ourselves as a health care company.”
The next step, Advisor advances Oura’s effort to build a $100B health data empire.
- Oura acquired Veri and Sparta Science to expand data and coaching capabilities.
- It integrated Dexcom’s CGMs to spotlight nutrition and metabolic health insights.
- It raised $200M at a $5.2B valuation to double down on product, AI, and healthcare.
Looking ahead: Leveraging AI, Oura wants to build an integrated health OS, but so do Apple, Samsung, WHOOP, and every wearable maker. Just the beginning, Advisor and other copilots have to prove they’re more than hype.
