The Personal Health OS Race Goes Global

Fast follow.

Lucis wants to disrupt European healthcare.

What’s happening: The French startup secured a $20M Series A to scale biomarker-driven preventative health across the EU.

New territory. Adding to $8.5M raised four months ago, the “Function Health of Europe” combines 110-marker blood panels with an AI health companion to benchmark functional health and guide behavior change.

Counting 10K users across France, the UK, Ireland, and Portugal, Lucis plans to enter Spain, Germany, and Italy by EOY.

Global stake. As Function vertically integrates in the US and Superpower adapts for the peptide era, the race to build the Personal Health OS is sparking regional competition.

While Lucis expands across Europe, NiaHealth is scaling in Canada, Emerald and Calibre launched in the UK, and Ahead Health and aeon are competing in Switzerland. Elsewhere, Saudi Arabia’s Madeed and India’s Nue Health are prepping debuts.

Punchline: A common thread, the world’s health systems remain reactive — built to manage illness, not prevent it. Fueled by longevity demand and enabled by third-party labs, consumers are going DIY.
