Wearables are pairing form with function.

What’s happening: Following an $8M round this summer, tech maker Nirva added $25M in a pre-Series A to launch its ambient AI pendant designed to decode moods, surface emotional intelligence, and supercharge self-reflection.

Statement. Tapping experience from Ray-Ban Meta, its founders believe passive shouldn’t mean invisible, with jewelry becoming “part of our habits, our identity, and our sense of self.”

New drip. While screenless wearables fade into the background, designer devices are engineered to stand out.

Identifying a third of wearers remove straps for special occasions, WHOOP launched jewelry-inspired Meridian. Luxury extensions, Oura debuted ceramics, and Garmin and Withings upgraded high-end timepieces.

Syncing novel data with elegant devices, Fort decodes gains, and The90’s necklace logs UV exposure, while Lumia and Incora track biometrics via earrings.

Punchline: As wellness becomes luxury, wearable makers are connecting inner motivations with outward displays.
