Longevity is an elimination game.
Blood Bath
Home to millions of circulating particles, the bloodstream reflects modern life, absorbing pollutants from food, water, packaging, cosmetics, and indoor environments.
Impossible to avoid, microplastics, chemicals, and heavy metals infiltrate our bodies — causing brain and cardiovascular damage that disrupts hormones, gut function, cognitive health, and mortality risk.
Toxic load. While accumulation is constant, visibility isn’t, leaving most people clueless about their individual burden. As mounting evidence links environmental exposure to aging, new diagnostics and detox protocols promise to slow decline by clearing the bloodstream.
Screening. Like DTC bloodwork, toxin panels are spreading — with Personal Health OS platforms now quantifying heavy metals and endocrine disruptors, while ambient sensors and wearables track exposure like a vital sign.
Also expanding, at-home diagnostics from Numenor Health, PlasticTox, Lumati, and Blueprint test for microplastics, while MoldCo measures mycotoxins.
Intervention. Primed for growth, the therapeutic plasma exchange (TPE) market is projected to hit $3B by 2033 alongside the rise of longevity medicine.
An oil change for the body, TPE removes inflammatory proteins, PFAS, and circulating debris, swapping in clean donor stock. Countering common diseases, it yields anti-aging effects, with early trials reducing biological age by up to 2.6 years.
Historically confined to hospitals, consumer-focused providers like London’s Clarify Clinic are making purification preventative. Selling the idea of an annual cleaning routine, Circulate Health raised >$12M to scale its affiliate model.
Undergoing trials for US clearance, Proxima Health filters and returns the patient’s own plasma.
Hazmat Suite
Bioremediation isn’t on the general public radar, but it’s becoming a status symbol.
In elite circles, private medical teams oversee hormone protocols, peptide stacks, stem cell infusions, and plasma therapies, with “blood concierge” services brokering treatments.
But without consistent clinical guardrails, experts say demand reflects desire for reassurance — not evidence-based results.
The next step: Brands must link testing, guidance, and follow-up labs into closed-loop protocols that prove worth to the masses.
Punchline: For a growing cohort, longevity begins with removal. To detoxers, health is a battle against internal accumulation — a mind-body shift toward cleansing the modern world from within.

💪 Unpacking 2025 fitness trends
Distilling year-end insights from Strava, ClassPass, Garmin, and Tonal, everyday athletes are prioritizing strength, longevity, and social connection.
Strength-first. Strength training is surging — Gen Z is twice as likely to lift, and women logged more sessions than men. With four years of double-digit growth on Garmin and older Tonal users training to age better, strength has become foundational.
Hybrid formats. Blending strength x endurance, HYROX-style classes on ClassPass grew 432% YoY, while multisport athletes on Strava and Garmin proved more consistent overall. Hybrid routines are replacing single-modality training as performance mindsets rise.
Low-impact longevity. Pilates led global trends again with 66% growth, while walking was Strava’s second-fastest-growing activity. Mobility, recovery, and sub-45-minute strength sessions reflect a shift toward sustainable, longevity-driven movement.
Community × sport. Group workouts are becoming social infrastructure. Strava Clubs nearly quadrupled, race participation climbed, and racket sports surged across platforms as fitness becomes a new way to meet, compete, and belong.
Looking ahead: As strength, hybrid formats, and low-impact routines converge, fitness is shifting from aspiration to everyday lifestyle.

🌡️ Wellness meets clinical care
Xponential Fitness founder Anthony Geisler is rolling out Ultimate Longevity Clinic, tapping Gary Brecka’s human optimization protocols and Lifeforce’s clinical engine.
Missing link. Part of franchise group Sequel Brands, the fifth concept joins Pilates, stretching, sauna, and EMS studios, positioning the portfolio for national scale.
Healthspan hub. Members access red light therapy, hyperbaric sessions, cold plunges, and hydrogen baths. Higher-tier care offers precision biomarker analysis plus NAD, GLP-1, HRT, peptide, and IV therapies.
Blurred lines. Longevity is eating wellness, and everyone wants in. Next Health bought Lindora and is integrating with gyms, while Humanaut, Fountain Life, and Dave Asprey’s Upgrade Labs accelerate their franchise push.
Elsewhere, Equinox x Function, Life Time’s MIORA, and Love.Life are merging fitness and diagnostics.
Looking ahead: Sequel Brands is building its own network for the modern consumer, aiming to scale longevity studios to rival the gym-as-clinic.
